On the night of the twenty eighth of September I left Utah for a family vacation, now I sit in the airport in Atlanta, Georgia waiting for a flight to take me home to Utah. This trip has been absolutely amazing. We went and saw Louisa May Alcotts house, the writer off the famous story - little women. We went on a tour through her house, saw the desk where she wrote Little women, learned about how the characters in her story were related to the people in her family. Little women is one of my favorite stories. My mom is always calling us her little women and I love that. We also went to Lexington and Concord, to the place where the shot that was hearts around the world was fired. I got to walk across the old north bridge and see the monuments that were built there. We went down to Plymouth rock, the place where the first colonists set foot in America then we went and saw the Mayflower 2 the ship which the colonists came across the world from, the first person to set foot off of that ship was John Alden, my 11th great grandfather. It is so cool that all of my history is recorded
And that we can know all of this. While we were out here we also went and saw Dottie. I think that part of the trip was my favorite. We came into her cozy little home and talked for a little bit. She invited us over to her table where we sat, talked, and laughed while having some snacks..we then talked a little while longer and then took a few pictures to remember this trip with Dottie hugged good bye and then left. We also went down by the beach and took pictures of the water, the grass by the water, and the bridge that crossed over the water. how we got to the beach though? Completely on accident. We were driving to Plymouth, but of course we had absolutely no idea where we were going. We were using my sisters GPS,
which on this trip was named Nigel. Usually his name is Walter..he likes to sometimes take us on completely weird ways to our destination. So eventuality he wasn't really helping so we switched to the GPS on our phones. Another thing we did was we had something that my parents wanted. While they did their thing, they dropped us off at a nearby café. We were gonna have lunch their but..... They had peanut butter, and we didn't want to risk it with no parents with us. So we sat outside the café, grabbed a few deck of cards and chilled for a while. After they got back they picked us up and we went to Fanueil hall, basically we went shopping around Fanueil hall add it was closed. This has been a really great trip, now I just Hope we can make it home. Wish us good luck!
