Dang! I'm getting old!

Wow. My birthday is in one day.... I am almost fifteen; the age when you are finally in high-school, and when you can start getting your driver's license/permit. Seriously I can't believe how old I am. My sisters are always telling me "you can't be that old! Go back to being three." I wish I could be three again. Lately we were watching some home videos of when my sisters and I were little. I was such a cute baby! (Not to brag or anything (:  ) I wish I could go back to being little but remember everything. Ahh... The joys of being little. I want them back....

Who Knew? :)

I just love that feeling you get when you help someone or you know that you will be able to help them. That's what I love about peer support. We get to help people in so many ways. I just can't stop smiling; just knowing that you may be the thing that turns someone's day from horrible great. I love the tutoring, the looks on the kids' faces when you say "Good Job!" or "You did it!" or "That was amazing!" I love that just by praising or encouraging someone you can put a smile on their faces. Another thing we do is called secret pals. We ask teachers for the names of seventh grade students that they think are struggling, and we write letters to them.  Well today I got my first letter back, and it is the cutest thing ever. It means the world to me that I can help someone who maybe is having a hard time transitioning from sixth grade to seventh and give them a friendly face to help them adjust. I think this is why I love helping people so much, because after you help them, it's like it help yourself too. It makes you feel better about what you've done, and about yourself. We also go around and sing to the teachers on their birthdays, which I think is great. Teachers don't get enough recognition for all the work they do. Now, I know I probably sound really cheesey and stupid right now, but it's true. They have to plan what we do every day, grade all the assignments that they plan, help the students that were absent, and so much more that we don't even know about! I'm glad that they are there to help us, and that we are there to help our peers. Now here is one thing that we do that is soooo FUNNY! We go out into the halls in-between homeroom and give out free compliments, the kids responses are hilarious! One time  my friend and I were in the hall with our posters and We told this kid we liked his shirt. His response? "No you don't." Then he walked away! If I ever compliment him again, you know what I am going to say? either "I like your personality." Or "I like your attitude!" I'm so glad that I took this class, I'm sure that it will change my life forever, and possibly influence what I end up doing in my life.

Where to start?

Well honestly I have no clue how to start this blog, I had a blog before and I never knew what to write so I am hoping that I will have better luck on this one :) Well I'm just gonna start with some things that I am excited for and can't wait for.

1. RHAPSODY DRESSES

I am soooooo excited to get the rhapsody dresses. Today we finished the fittings and should be getting them soon. I estimate within a few weeks. They are blue, knee length, and EXTREMELY cute!

2. MY BIRTHDAY

My birthday is coming up pretty soon, and I'm excited to be getting older :) Getting older means I can get my drivers license and a car :) For my birthday my family is taking me and my twin, on a trip to Boston.

3. BOSTON

So as I said previously my family is taking me on a trip to Boston for my birthday; and boy am i stoked! We are going to see John Alden's house! Just think of how much history is up there! And i get to go see it in person!

4. GOING TO MY GRANDMAS

I get to go to my grandmas on the twenty fourth! The reason I am so excited for this is because I rarely get to see my grandmas. At my grandmas we do this thing where we have a party for the recent birthdays. And my birthday just happens to be included this time. Another reason I am so excited is because I get to see my cousins. I also rarely get to see them because they live far away and often we are very busy, and I don't have a way to get there my self.

5. GLEE-K

Yes i am very much a GLEEK. I love that show. And I can't wait for the next season to start this month. :) Some of my favorite characters from Glee would be Kurt, Blaine, and Mr. Schuester.

6. SURVIVOR

OK so survivor is my favorite reality TV show ever! And it starts on September 14th!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D And Ozzie and Coach are back! :D

Well that is every thing I am excited for. Hmmmmm... How about a little about me?
